Tooth Extractions

When a tooth is beyond repair because of a fracture or break or has an infection an extraction may be recommended. Our ultimate goal is to preserve natural teeth as long as possible and reduce the chances of needing an extraction. When an extraction is needed, our Dentists will evaluate the tooth and the surrounding structures and make a recommendation to have the tooth removed done here in the office, or under the care of a specialist. We discuss with you options for freezing or sedation to ensure you’re comfortable during the process.

Following the removal of a tooth, we will discuss replacement options with you. There are a few options to consider when replacing a tooth. Having a complete dentition or set of teeth will allow for proper functioning and reduce the risk of wear and tear on remaining teeth or breakage.
