Lauren – Registered Dental Hygienist
I’ve been working with Dr. Beth since 2006, after receiving my diploma in Dental Hygiene at George Brown College. What an amazing experience it has been thus far, and I’m delighted to continue working with her and the patients of the office. It really is important to enjoy your workplace and the work that you do, and I feel this is the main reason why I do my very best everyday. Coming from a large family, I appreciate the importance of family and enjoy working in a family oriented office.
I get asked all the time how I can work in someone’s mouth everyday and the truth is I love my job!! I want patients to leave smiling and feeling that they received gentle and thorough care because I do my very best everyday. I sincerely enjoy getting to know my patients and their families.
I love having children come into the office, working with them is always a lot of fun and I try my best to teach them the importance of keeping a clean and healthy mouth. I want to make visiting the dentist as much of a positive and fun experience as I had when I was young with my hygienist. Most often I hear how people don’t like visiting the dentist and I make it my priority to change that perception when it comes to visiting our office.
I enjoy helping people achieve a smile they are proud of. After years of braces and past whitening procedures, I can appreciate the desire for patients to obtain the smile they want. Feel free to ask me about my experiences!!
Jane – Registered Dental Hygienist
As the newest staff member, I am very excited to join Dr. Beth and her dynamic team, as a part time dental hygienist. Although I have worked many years in the dental field, in numerous offices, I have never experienced a group that works so well together, as a team, and are truly committed to putting patient care first! I truly feel, I have found my ‘work home’.
I obtained my honours Dental Hygiene degree at Cambrian College in Sudbury, in 1995, bringing over 25 years experience in the dental field, 20 of those as a Dental Hygienist, to the table.
I am told I have a calm, gentle touch, with an attention to detail, and strive to provide the most positive patient experience possible. I enjoy getting to know my patients, and working on collaborative care plans together, for optimal health.
In the past I have spent time volunteering with the Big Sisters and Palliative Care programs in the Niagara region, as well as several local schools. When I am not spending time with my husband and our 4 boys, you can find me outdoors. I love hiking, experiencing new adventures and recording it all, with my passion for photography.
